So the verdict from my doctor's office is that my blood test is normal, and as far as they're concerned I'm healthy. I learned this after calling three times today, getting disconnected once, called Melissa twice, and having them lose my record at least once. They also hung up on me immediately after telling me the result, before I could ask any pesky questions about interpretation or follow-up, or asking how I was doing and whether I was improving at all.

This is good news, I suppose, in that I now know at least one thing that is *not* wrong with me. On the other hand, I do not know what *is* wrong, if anything. I suppose it's possible that I'm just being lazy and a hypochondriac, and I'm really just fine - that's honestly the most likely answer. Still, I'd like to know for certain. Or barring that possibility, I'd like a medical professional to at least hear me out and maybe pretend to pay attention to me. Currently, I'm just driving myself crazy wondering if I'm imagining everything, and it's making the whole situation just that much more miserable.

Does anyone in the Medford/Somerville/etc. area know of a decent GP? It seems I'm in the market for a new one.....

If it makes you feel any better, I've been lethargic and blah for some time. The neurosurgeon explained (without being prompted) that this sort of thing was normal until the hormones kicked in properly.

Borrow my excuse. Get thee to an endocrinologist and see if your hormones are in order.

Glad to hear it wasn't the first worry, though. :-)
