Just So You Know

I've probably made this more or less clear to everybody who would be interested, but in case the details have been missed in the hectic swirl of getting ready, I'm going to be out of town for a while.

I'm leaving the Boston area next Tuesday, and I'll be heading to West Virginia. I'll be there through the end of November; I'm not exactly sure when I'll be back but it'll probably be around December 4th. I'm going to help out a friend who's having a baby (actually, as far as I know she may be having the baby as I write this.....); I'll be working at her clinic until her life is back to something as close to an even keel as possible.

It'll be an interesting experience, and I'll get to spend a lot of time with a friend I don't see near often enough. And I'll get plenty of reading and needlework and crocheting done, I'm sure, and I'll do my best not to miss my husband and my friends.

I'll still have email and internet access while I'm down there, and I wouldn't mind the occasional electronic howdy - I trust y'all enough to know you won't forget me that quickly, but there are a lot of days between now and December, and keeping in touch would definitely help me pass the time.

If anyone wants my address while I'm down there, or my cell phone number, email me and let me know, and I'll pass the info on. Meanwhile, have fun, and I'll see you when I get back....

You won't actually be too far out of communication - dialup at the house, but cable internet at the office ;-) (my staff has told me they've pretty well given up checking their eamil at home, and check from the office, because it's so much faster *grin*)

The 18th - tomorrow. I would have left earlier, but for some reason I figured I should stick around to spend my first anniversary with my sweetie....

Le sigh. No more dance practice for me until December. I was hoping to see you there last week to give you a g'bye hug, but it was not to be.

got your message, luv! never know when I'm going to be home these days to return the call, though. if you were to make it into town before Saturday, definitely give me a call or I'll try and catch you at the con. Unfortunately, I will be going out of town to Pittsburgh saturday to say goodbye to some friends who are running off to Australia next month. I had thought that OVFF was going to be kind and useful and stay in its proper place on the last weekend of October, so i didn't bother actually checking until today and now I find out it's a weekend I won't be able to be here. this makes me particularly unhappy, because i'd been hoping to introduce FA to filk and all my friends from out of town that she hasn't gotten to meet, yet. Unfortunately, part of the reason i planned my PA trip for this weekend is that she's going to be out of town, too! *sigh*

have fun helping Melissa out and give DS hugs from me when he finally makes his apperance! Hope to see you this week!!!

Mineral Wells - it's in the way-far-northwest corner. Not exactly a stone's throw from the BaltiWashGinia area, but closer than Boston....
