And Now The Down-Side

OK. Pennsic was had, vacation was vacated, home has been achieved. I even managed to avoid the creeping crud that was working its way through our camp.

And now.... my insomnia is back. After sleeping just fine through a week of camping in a muggy tent in the rain on an uneven air mattress, I'm now in my own comfy bed, managing a maximum of four or five hours a night.

I think I've got conjunctivitis. My yoga shows are failing to record, leaving me absent my favorite focus and stress relief. My car insurance company is making my life miserable. My new job is.... not going as smoothly as I had hoped.

If I can make it through to Saturday, I'll be fine. Miracle of miracles, I've got a somewhat-free weekend, and I'm hoping to spend it reading, going to a movie, and maybe baking a coffeecake. But it's going to be a heck of a haul to get there.....
