I'm not quite sure how I'm going to get through this. Today cannot end soon enough.

Edited to add: 3pm added another to the list, bringing today's body count to a minimum of 5. I have no words. I believe I shall ditch dance class tonight to go home, curl up in a little ball, and shiver quietly.

I know that every time I have had to make that hardest decision a pet lover can make, it has been the comforting, compassionate presence of the doctor that has made it bearable. I know it's hard for you, but you are doing a good thing.

I can't imagine what it's like for you...

But I can say this: since monsteralice and I had to have Shadow, Molly and Brutus euthanized last year, we are profoundly grateful for people in the profession who are like you- people who handle these cases gently and compassionately.
