If I have to have a work slowdown, I could do worse than to have it happen in a period when TNT is re-airing the entirety of Supernatural, starting from Season One, on weekday mornings.

It's not a massive waste of time if I use it to work on crafty projects for friends, right?

In other news Burdick's Chocolates wins the Nice Business of the Week award. I know of nowhere else that, when you go in asking for charitable donations for a raffle, will not only unofficially agree to make a donation and take your letter to pass to higher-ups for potential greater donations, but will also give you free cookies and cocoa.

For a day that started out crummy, today is turning out surprisingly well.

I had been vaguely aware of Supernatural for a while, but thought it was more of a "teen" show, so I hadn't watched it. Until I read the description of the episode "The Monster at the End of the Book." Zo.M.G. Funniest thing ever. Meta-META funny. The Winchesters discover "Wincest."

So now I'm hooked. I netflixed the previous four seasons and am now caught up. Have you ever read the recaps on Television Without Pity? Wonderful, wonderful stuff.

Leslie, Team Sammy.

That was a pretty awesome episode. :)

I love TWoP, but I've never read their Supernatural recaps - I should probably take a look at them....

(apropos of nothing) - I sent you an e-mail Monday night; if you *haven't* received it, that's when I'd like you to let me know. If you have - no need to respond, unless you have questions or want to talk about anything in it.

I did get it Tuesday morning; I had just wanted to take last night to meditate and sleep on it, and see what it shook loose in my head before I replied....

Mmmmm! Burdick's cocoa! That stuff is so good, it needs its own word. "Coca" is too pale.

Maybe you should go back on a similar quest during the summer. Have you ever had one of their dark chocolate frappes? They're amazing enough to cause a chocolate coma just by remembering them. *succumbs*
