Date: 2010-07-08 10:23 pm (UTC)I suppose that's more a wonder of biology, but hey, biology is a science. And elbows are just So. Freaking. Cool. The fact that it's a hinge, but that at the same time we can just twist so our hand is palm-up or palm-down - without bending, without involving our upper arm at all - it's the most amazing thing I can imagine! Utterly mind boggling, and evolution came up with it, and it's so useful and awesome and wow.....
