I have a decorative scarf that I crocheted for myself - it's made of this utterly beautiful silk yarn, variegated in shades of blue and green and purple and beaded with tiny crystal beads, and the pattern is a thin, delicate series of scallops and waves.

It feels like wearing a piece of the ocean wrapped around me, and while it's utterly non-useful in a practical way, it's beautiful and I love it.
