1) Someone who is a better songsmith than I am needs to write a parody of "Chiquitita" by Abba, about Chicken Tikka.

2) A poll, because I can't figure out the answer myself....

[Poll #1617727]

I already did. When it first came out. But as that was 30 years ago, I've long forgotten it.

An ABBA-Lisk is the Swedish lisp/accent you develop after listening to too much Abba.

Not that you can listen to too much...

So tell me, what is an abba-ttoir?

You were close with the obelisk, except the Abbalisk was unearthed on an expedition to the Nordic regions. It was four sided, with a mysteriously chipper face carved on each side. The runes on it were eventually deciphered as a tribute to "The Queen That Dances" and her lover, "Fernando"

LOL! But hey, getting an ELO song stuck in your head is better than many other things one could have there!

(Long live Jeff Lynne!)

Yup... I usually sneak a little ELO into the playlist at KLOCKWERQ. It counts as steampunk music ;-)

You may be mixing up the Abba-lisk, which is, as far as anybody knows, mythical, with the rare but observed Basia-lisk, which earworms a person with jazz-pop crossover songs.
