This afternoon

umbran has an interview for what could be a truly awesome job. It's nearby, it's working in academia which he loves, it's doing something he's good at, and the pay isn't too shabby. He's really hopeful that this will work out, and so am I.

That said, a little help is always welcome. So if anyone reading this has any positive energy or good thoughts to spare, and wants to send them his way, say around 4pm today, that'd be much appreciated.

In the meantime, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, thinking happy thoughts, and doing my best to hit that sweet spot between optimism and desperation.....
