Silks 2 Week 6

So I'm slowly getting better - antibiotics truly do work miracles. And I was better enough to make it to silks class today.
While 2 weeks off was irritating as hell, it does mean that my shoulder is feeling a lot better. And having four students and only two sets of silks means that yeah, we have to take turns, but at least I never got short of breath. So ultimately, today was a really good class. A lot of things that I expected to be difficult just sort of.... clicked.
Hip key on the ground
Hip key in the air (holy cow; I never honestly believed I'd be able to do this)
Hip key into Peter Pan (pull fabrics forward between your legs, reach over with the bottom hand, stiff body and roll into an arch with top leg straight and bottom bent)
Crossback straddle (double foot locks, reach one shoulder in front and elbow around silks, other arm in front; shoulders through; splits, straddle up)
Started working on star drop, but it didn't really make much sense - straddle up, catcher's lock, then pass the silks in front of you and crunch up toward the locked side.... then... something?
Sadly, because she only got through half the syllabus, the teacher is recommending that we all repeat Level 2 next semester. And sadly, the only timeslot I can take the class in is taught by the same teacher. Still.... I'm having enough fun with this that I want to stick with it.
