I Don't Suppose You'd Know.....
Sep. 18th, 2005 08:24 pmSo I was digging through my closet recently, trying to figure out something to wear to go dancing in the near future, and I realized that I haven't bought myself any new dress-up and showoff clothes since.... well, since I moved back to Boston four years ago. This is a situation that needs fixing immediately.
This afternoon I wandered down to Harvard Square to raid one of the known gothy-themed stores there, only to find that they now sell vintage-style 1980's T-shirts, torn jeans, and baggy pajama pants. No leather pants, no minidresses, no halter tops, no nothing actually worth buying. And no other stores that I could find in the area that had anything useful, either.
So - Boston-area people, do you have any suggestions as to where I can go to find vaguely gothy, vaguely sexy dress-up clothes? I'm not willing to buy stuff online, since I'm kind of picky about how they fit, but I am willing to drive if there's a decent store a bit out of the way....
