Conversations With My Husband, part 7031
A (perusing the cabinets this morning): What should I have for breakfast?
Me: You could have.... monkeys.
A (looking slightly confused): Monkeys?
Me: What, you don't like monkeys?
A: .....I don't think we have any monkeys.
Me (sighing): Did you eat them all already?
A: No....
Me (stomping my feet): Well, I find it hard to believe that they all went bad already. Damnit, I just bought them!
A: Maybe they escaped?
Me: *sighs, tries to pass him the cornflakes, and collapses in helpless giggles*
It's a good thing we're married to each other, because we'd likely drive anyone else mad....

For us (when there was an "us") it was generally moose. With hand gestures. (Moose antlers with hands....or half a moose each.)
