So Valentine's Day is nearly upon us. And my husband, bless his heart, is a traditionalist.
However, I am at best a nibbler when it comes to candy, and for some reason this past holiday season was a heavily-chocolate one, so my house is still full of chocolates. Godiva chocolates from my Christmas stocking, chocolate-covered toffees that my mom sent for my birthday, mini peanut butter cups that I bought for cookie baking, gourmet hand-dipped chocolate truffles and caramels from an outing to a chocolatier with a friend....
My life is so hard, I know.
So. The last thing I need right now is more chocolate. But I know my better half, and I know he will insist on getting me *something* edible and and romantic for the holiday. But.... I'm not usually a candy person, so I have no idea of what to even suggest.
So - what are your favorite non-chocolate candies and goodies?

Exotic fruit that would be good companion pieces to chocolate... pears, starfruit.. and gourmet cheeses... so the two of you could have some decadent nosh together.
