Good Things About Being Chronically Debilitated:
-Medicine that makes you too drowsy to function makes it much easier to tolerate enforced downtime.
-Loss of appetite conveniently balances decreased activity to avoid excess weight gain.
-After multiple days of being too sick to eat, chicken soup tastes like liquid heaven.
-Maine Root's Mexicane Cola can be used as a therapeutic substance.
-Cats love the unlimited lap time, and do their best to heal you with their magic purr and kneading powers.
-Plenty of time to catch up on your to-read list. (Relatedly, Catherynne M. Valente's 'Six-Gun Snow White' is the best thing I have read in a long, long time.)
-Significantly decreased fuel budget for car.
-Unbeatable opportunity to familiarize yourself with the content of Netflix Streaming and OnDemand. (Also relatedly, recommend to me your favorite series?)
-Good excuse to buy super-comfy pajamas.
-Finally getting at least 7 hours of sleep a night for the first time in my life.
